In his early adulthood, he recruited skinheads to the White Aryan Resistance. Now, he is in the fight against white supremacy by helping others to leave these extreme organizations. Tony McAleer is the executive director of Life After Hate which works to rehabilitate former white supremacists, promising no judgment, just help. He joins Matter of Fact for an honest conversation about what attracted him to white supremacy and how he “rediscovered his humanity.”

Watch the extended interview with McAleer to learn about their significant increase in calls in the last few months from people seeking help.
