Harvard University is under fire for allegedly holding Asian applicants to higher standards than students of other races, according to a discrimination lawsuit filed by the Students for Fair Admissions. The lawsuit argues that if Harvard went by different standards, more Asian students would merit more slots over white students. But critics worry about what the elimination of affirmative action could mean for black and Latino applicants.
