At age 19, Brandon Paulin was elected to serve the community of Indian Head, Maryland, a small town of nearly 4,000 located an hour south of Washington, DC. Balancing college courses, city duties and the occasional age joke, Paulin says he’s working to make his local government more responsive to voters and inspire other young leaders.
