Several counties in rural Illinois are passing “gun sanctuary” measures, saying they will not enforce certain gun control measures if they are passed by the state legislature. David Campbell, member of Effingham County Board, says he introduced the first resolution in his county in response to the Illinois Trust, making Illinois a so-called sanctuary state for undocumented immigrants. He joins Soledad O’Brien to discuss why he believes his county is following the constitution by ignoring state law and the deepening divide between rural and urban America.
