Libertarian Presidential candidate Gary Johnson may not have received enough support in the polls to make it to the debate stage, but he insists that he is not sitting out.
“I think I’ll be at the debate. I think there is an insatiable appetite to hear from us at the moment. I mean there’s a lot of time to fill and I think we might be catnip for the media to fill that time.”
In order to participate in the presidential debates, a candidate must poll at an average 15 percent in several major national polls. Johnson received 8.4 percent while Green Party candidate Jill Stein received 3.2 percent.
