Historian Timothy Tyson has recently released his new book, The Blood of Emmett Till, centered around the brutal murder of Emmett Till in Mississippi in 1955, as well as the racial tensions at the time. The book also unveils a shocking revelation: Carolyn Bryant, the white shopkeeper who testified that Till had made sexual advances, now says “that part’s not true.” Watch Soledad’s full interview with Tyson on researching the book and his conversation with Bryant.
