Alice Waters is a pioneer in the culinary industry. More than 50 years ago, she opened Chez Panisse – one of the first farm-to-table restaurants in the country. The world-renowned restaurant’s menu changes daily and features fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local farmers. It aligns with Waters’ passion for the slow food movement, which promotes good, clean and fair food for all. Soledad O’Brien traveled to Florida to speak with Waters about her legacy and her effort to help youth grow a better understanding of the food they eat.
