July 20th marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11th mission to the moon. Soledad sits down with NASA’s chief scientist, Dr. James Green, to discuss why understanding the moon is so important to the earth’s past, present, and future. NASA is set to return to the moon in 2024, and Dr. Green says it’s part of NASA’s long term mission to ultimately see people living on the moon and even on Mars.
