A group of high school students are suing their school for not providing a “proper civics education.” If the case makes it to the highest court in the land, they may find support from Justice Sonia Sotomayor. She’s the governing board member of iCivics, a non-profit that works to educate students about how our government works. She tells Soledad a better understanding of civics could bridge America’s partisan divide.
