The Republican replacement bill for the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, will impacts millions of Americans. Critics of the bill, known as the AHCA, say older Americans would pay skyrocketing premiums, those who use Medicaid would lose their safety nets and the highest earners would receive large tax breaks. But here’s another group – small business owners. These 28 million self-employed Americans say they struggled to pay for healthcare under the ACA, but the replacement bill doesn’t provide solutions either. Katie Vlietstra, from the National Association for the Self-Employed, represents their interests on Capitol Hill. She joins Soledad O’Brien for a conversation on the importance of not just better health insurance but better healthcare.
