Republican senators have released a second repeal and replace plan for the Affordable Care Act – Obamacare – and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has gone rogue, introducing his own version as a back-up. As of yet, neither bill appears to have the full support of the GOP, meaning Republicans may need to work with Democrats to fix the ACA. Yet, Ezekiel Emanuel, one of the architects of Obamacare, says the healthcare bills are focusing too much on cost of coverage and not enough on reducing the cost of actual care. Soledad O’Brien sits down with Emanuel to discuss his recent meetings at the White House, strategies to reduce costs, and his prescription for American healthcare.
