More than 2.5 billion people around the world use smartphones, spending an average of four hours a day on their phones. Many say they want to cut back on the screen time, but only around half who try succeed. Georgetown Professor Cal Newport, author of “Digital Minimalism,” says it is possible to quit your smartphone addiction for good.
