Thousands of Puerto Ricans are fleeing the island after suffering a series of dangerous earthquakes since the end of last year. That’s while much of the U.S. territory still is working to recover from the devastation left by Hurricane Maria. Now many Puerto Ricans are relocating to Florida where they’ll be able to use their political power in one of the most important battleground states ahead of the 2020 presidential election.
