Gridlock in the Capitol could be clearing up as moderate caucus leaders from both parties look for opportunities to reach across the aisle. Rep. Charlie Dent (R-PA), co-chair of the Tuesday Group, and Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT), chair of the New Democrat Coalition, say they want to bring their parties closer to the middle where there can be compromise. This legislative session, members from both groups have met twice officially as well as unofficially. Soledad O’Brien is joined by Dent and Himes to discuss their goals, where they believe there is opportunity for cooperation and how they are pulling away from party leadership.
