Troops at the Border: A Stunt or Needed?

The Rio Grande Valley in South Texas is the busiest border crossing for undocumented immigrants. Just before the midterm election, President Trump announced he was sending 5,000 active duty troops to U.S. Mexico Border to crack down on immigrants seeking asylum. Was it just a political stunt? We get two perspectives, one from a border patrol chief, the other from the mayor of McAllen, TX.
